The Maxi White Sparkle shower cladding panel is the premium expression of the nation’s favourite sparkle bathroom finish – a brilliant white base embedded with glittering sparkle particles, delivered in the generous 2400mm x 900mm wide format of the Maxi panel range. At 10mm thick with a calcium carbonate composite core, these are substantial, premium-quality shower cladding panels with a density and rigidity that immediately sets them apart from standard thin-profile PVC alternatives. Each panel covers 2.16m² of shower wall in a single piece, dramatically reducing the number of joins in the installation and creating a more seamless, high-specification result.
Sold individually, Maxi White Sparkle panels give complete flexibility to cover shower enclosures of any size and configuration precisely. In a standard UK shower enclosure, as few as three panels – one per wall – can be sufficient to complete the full three-sided shower cladding in a sweeping, join-minimised installation that looks genuinely exceptional when lit from above.
The 900mm width of each Maxi panel means that a single panel covers more than three times the wall width of a standard 250mm tongue-and-groove cladding panel. In practical terms, this means fewer vertical joins across the shower enclosure wall, a more continuous and uninterrupted sparkle surface, and a finished result that reads as considerably more premium than a narrower-panel sparkle installation. The sparkle effect is distributed consistently across the full 2400mm x 900mm surface of each panel, creating an even, all-over glitter effect with no visible panel join lines interrupting the sparkle pattern.
Maxi shower panels are constructed from a 55% PVC resin and calcium carbonate composite at 10mm thickness – a significantly more substantial build specification than standard 5mm or 8mm tongue-and-groove cladding panels. This composite construction provides excellent dimensional stability, superior impact resistance, and a more convincing, solid feel when in position on the shower wall. The UV coating protects the sparkle finish from fading over time, and the 100% waterproof construction ensures complete moisture protection throughout the shower enclosure.
Due to the size and weight of Maxi panels, Decorwall Megabond Adhesive is essential – apply evenly across the full back face of each panel using a notched spreader to ensure full contact adhesion. Seal all panel edges and joins with LMA White Silicone Sealant for a clean, waterproof perimeter. The Maxi panel range is compatible with standard metal shower trim profiles for a fully finished edge at all corners and joins.
