The 20×20 External Angle in chrome is one of the most commonly used external corner trims for PVC wall cladding installations across the UK. At 20mm on each face, this chrome angle provides a slightly more generous coverage than the 15×15 compact profile – making it the standard choice for most PVC cladding external corner situations where the panel thickness and wall projection require a trim that covers the corner joint thoroughly whilst remaining visually compact and neat. The chrome finish coordinates naturally with chrome bathroom fixtures and the chrome trim profiles used throughout a typical bathroom cladding installation.
Measuring 2600mm in length and manufactured from rigid, waterproof PVC with a durable chrome-effect finish, the 20×20 chrome external angle is suitable for all bathroom, shower room, wet room, and kitchen cladding applications. It can be cut to the precise height required using a standard hacksaw.
External corners in a bathroom cladding installation are the outward-facing angles where cladded walls project into the room space – such as the outer edge of a partition wall, a column, or the external corner of a shower enclosure or bath surround. At these points, two adjacent cladding panels meet edge-to-edge with no overlap, leaving raw panel edges exposed. The external angle trim covers both exposed edges simultaneously, creating a clean, chrome-finished corner that is waterproof, robust, and visually neat. The 20×20 chrome external angle pairs naturally with matching chrome end profiles and internal corner trims for a fully coordinated trim finish throughout the cladding installation.
Apply LMA Clear Silicone Sealant behind the angle trim and along all edges for a fully waterproof external corner.
